We are fully aware that modern lifestyles are causing problems with obesity and fitness. We can help by allowing the adults and children take part in adventurous activites together. Our unique courses and structured activity days facilitate a healthy environment for the enjoyment of rock climbing, abseiling, gorge scrambling and much more.

Are you man or woman enough to climb up a sheer rock face and place your own gear? Find out on a distinctive course with Rock and Ice. We offer you the chance to learn to lead climb the trad way safely.
Qualifications
Qualifications- who needs them? We do! We display the AMI logo and are AALA licenced - that means we are fully qualified to teach these skills and have passed scrutiny by the HSE appointed government body for working in extreme locations with kids and adults alike. Nice to know huh?

Rock and Ice is certified by the AALA (Adventure Activities
Licensing Authority) to perform the following activities:
- Rock Climbing - Single or Multi Pitch
- Abseiling
- Coasteering
- Gorge Scrambling
- Tyrolean Traverse
- Hill Walking & Mountaineering
Summer conditions only.
The AALA recognises that other activities which do not come within scope of the AALA Regulations 1996.
Richard Hogan is certified to provide specified adventure activities to young people under the age of 18 years.
